As a result both Sheriff Joe Arpaio and County Attorney Andrew Thomas are taking the unusual step of touting the re-election campaigns of each other in a television spot debuting Tuesday across the Valley. Paid for equally by each campaign, the thirty-second television spot highlights successes on illegal immigration and the need to continue respective tough on crime policies. “We cannot effectively continue the fight against illegal immigration, and eventually win it, without re-electing Sheriff Arpaio,” Thomas said. “Our fight against crime and illegal immigration will be set back considerably if we don’t re-elect Andrew Thomas as our County Attorney,” Arpaio said.
